Soft Reflections
Presents a compelling dialogue between photography and textile art, offering a reimagined lens through which to view self-portraiture. This body of work embraces abstraction and transformation as tools to challenge traditional notions of identity, the body, and visual representation.

At the heart of the project lies a unique interplay of mediums: photography captures fleeting impressions, while crochet textile grounds them in material form. The tactile quality of the crochet extends the visual inquiry into the realm of physical presence, embedding personal memory and emotion into each thread. Through this textured language, the work speaks to themes of vulnerability, resilience, and the layered nature of selfhood.

Together, these elements converge in two abstract self-portraits—expressive, non-literal renderings that blur boundaries between inner and outer worlds. Rather than fixed images, they serve as evolving reflections of identity, shaped by process, memory, and material.
