Polska Krew
(Ongoing)
On this page, you will find a series of visual experiments created to explore and better understand my Polish heritage. Each piece is a reflection of my personal journey to connect with the culture and traditions that have shaped a part of my identity. Through these artworks, I aim to navigate the rich history, customs, and symbols of Poland, and to translate these into a contemporary language that resonates with my own experiences.
The interplay of tradition and modernity is a key theme, as I aim to reimagine familiar symbols in new ways. Whether through color, texture, or form, I strive to evoke the feeling of nostalgia while also making room for innovation and personal interpretation.
Each artwork is not just an exploration of national identity, but also an invitation to reflect on how we carry tradition forward in our own lives. How do we honor the past while shaping our present and future? My visual experiments are as much about personal discovery as they are about a collective journey to preserve the stories that connect us to our heritage.
I invite you to engage with these pieces, to see them not only as artistic expressions, but as an ongoing conversation about tradition, identity, and the intersection of past and present.

Chapter 1
Sunstone
This project began with my fascination for amber—fossilized tree resin known for its warm, golden glow and its ability to preserve traces of ancient life. More than a beautiful material, amber carries cultural, historical, and even mystical significance. In Poland, it symbolizes protection, healing, and a connection to nature, making it both a precious object and a portal to the past.
Exploring Polish culture through this lens has been a deeply personal journey. Polish traditions—rooted in family, community, and a close relationship with nature—offer a sense of grounding and a unique understanding of happiness tied to belonging. Immersing myself in these customs revealed that fulfillment often grows from shared experiences, rituals, and the bonds we nurture.
Delving into my history and DNA has further shaped this project. Tracing these roots creates a bridge between past and present, helping me understand where I come from and how my story fits into a larger human narrative. In the end, this exploration celebrates identity, heritage, and the power of reconnecting with the places and traditions that shape who we are.

Chapter 2
Przez klucz
This project delves into the enchanting traditions of Andrzejki, a Polish celebration steeped in mystery and folklore.
At its heart is the age-old ritual of pouring melted wax through a keyhole, casting shadows that reveal glimpses of the future.
Each image captures the interplay of light, shadow, and molten wax, evoking the magic and anticipation of this timeless fortune-telling practice.
Through atmospheric compositions and intricate details, the photographs explore themes of tradition, imagination, and the passage of cultural heritage.
The project invites viewers to step into the mystical world of Andrzejki, where dreams and destiny converge.
